Dispute Resolution – Trainee Solicitor
Ciaran was born in Manchester and educated at St Ambrose College, Altrincham, where he completed his GCSEs and A-Levels before studying Law and Politics at the University of Manchester.
After an initial period in legal practice post-graduation, Ciaran transitioned into legal recruitment, where he spent four and a half years, including three years with a global PLC. In this role, he specialised in placing senior legal professionals into in-house positions up to General Counsel level. His client portfolio encompassed publicly listed companies, international banks, private equity-backed businesses, and organisations establishing a UK presence for the first time.
In July 2024, Ciaran successfully completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, earning a Master’s in Law, Business and Management. Following this, he made the decision to return to the legal profession in October 2025. Ciaran is now undertaking his training contract with a focus on Dispute Resolution, Employment, and Company Commercial, and is on track to qualify as a solicitor on 1 October 2027.
